Manifesting is all about your energy. It's not about pushing harder or wishing harder or trying to control the outcome. It's all about aligning your energy with the life that you wanna call it, period. I know this can sometimes feel confusing. What does it really mean to be in alignment? How do I know that I'm actually doing it right?

I hear this a lot actually, and that's why I'm going to answer some of the most common questions I hear from you guys about energy and manifestation. I've queried my audience and I've picked up [00:01:00] some hardcore questions that I get very often, and these are the questions that come up again and again and again in my community.

And by the end of the episode, I hope that you feel a lot clearer and empowered and ready to let your energy work for you, not against you. So let's jump in. Here are the questions. What if I feel like I'm doing everything right? I'm meditating affirming, but nothing's showing up. All right. Here's the story.

The universe does not respond to pressure. It responds to presence. So all of the doing, the doing, the manifesting, the doing, the meditation can actually be another source of blocking, and this is where I love to remind people to sometimes just step back and stop doing. To do nothing and let the universe show you what to do.

Let me give you an example. I've been wanting something. I've been wanting to make something happen in a business relationship, and I saw that it started to go off course. And so I took one small [00:02:00] action to try to redirect it, and I started to feel after I took that action, that anxiety of like, oh, is this gonna work out?

I have to control it. What else do I have to do? And I heard my inner voice say, Gabby, stop doing and start allowing. I knew that I took the one action I had to take and it was completely clean and clear when I took that action and now the best thing I could do was to roll it back, stop doing, and start allowing, and I started to repeat this affirmation, whatever is meant for me is coming to me in a divine time and order far beyond whatever I could imagine.

Whatever is meant for me is coming to me in a divine time and order far beyond anything I could ever imagine. And I just started to repeat that and repeat that and repeat that. And it helped me remember that I actually don't have to chase. I can trust and I don't have to force, I can allow. And so this idea of trying to force something to happen is probably quite the [00:03:00] opposite.

So even if the meditating starts to feel forceful, I want you to just do nothing. Step back, do nothing. Let the universe show you what to do. Best advice I could give you today. The next question is you always say it's your energy that matters, but how do you attune your energy with your desires? Okay, so here's the story.

The secret to elevating your energy is to let go. And when you stop trying to control everything, everything begins to flow. So how do you attune your energy with your desires? It's all about being in a surrendered state. So how do we get into that surrendered state of that energetic. Flow. We stop again, just like the first step.

We stop thinking and obsessing about the thing and we stop all the doing. And so then if we have this space where we're not doing, doing, doing, and trying to control, what else might we be doing? And ask yourself, if I wasn't spending all my time controlling this outcome, what else might I be doing? My guess is you're going to hear, I'd be [00:04:00] creating, or I'd be exercising, or I'd be walking, or I'd be hanging out with friends.

That first response to what else might I be doing is the exact thing I want you to do. Go do that thing that you'd be doing if you weren't always worrying or controlling, and it's likely that you would be cooking or you would be playing, or you'd be hanging out with your child or you'd be doing some creative work, or you'd be reading a book, go do that thing guys.

'cause that thing that you are not doing, because you're in that constant state of controlling and worrying, is the exact thing that puts you back into alignment with the energy of the universe. The thing that brings you joy, the thing that brings you excitement, the thing that brings you peace, the thing that brings you into the present moment.

That is what I want you to be focusing on doing. So ask yourself that question. If I wasn't always controlling, what else might I be doing? And the answer to that question is the thing to go do. The next question's great. What have I been trying to manifest the same thing forever And it still hasn't shown up.
Okay, so here's an important message for [00:05:00] you. The universe has three answers for you.

Yes, not yet, or something Way better is on the way. So if your desire hasn't shown up yet, it's likely that it's either a, not yet, or that there's something better on the way. And so I want you to open your heart and your mind to being willing to receive.

This or something better. You can affirm that I welcome this desire or something better. You can even say thank you universe for revealing to me what is of the highest good. Giving yourself permission to let your desires off the hook. When we strangle those desires, we block them. So the universe is given you those three answers.

Yes. Not yet. There's something better on the way, and I want you to open up your creative capacity to be able to witness what that answer is. Stop controlling, start allowing, and witness the universe in action. Ask the universe. Show me if it's this or something better. Then the next question is, how do I keep my [00:06:00] energy high and in alignment when life feels really stressful and overwhelming?

The fastest way to keep your energy high and in alignment is actually doing what you're doing right now. You're listening to spiritual content on the podcast. You are opening your heart to a new way of perceiving the world. You are giving yourself the opportunity to have an open-mindedness. You are listening to these practices.

What you're doing right here, right now is actually the opposite of getting overwhelmed and stuck in all of the negative patterns of the world. So do. Less of the engaging in the areas of the news or social or conversations that drain your energy and stay connected to this type of spiritual elevated conversation.

Because when you're in alignment with the spiritual conversation, your energy starts to expand and invisible doors start to open for you and new ideas and creativity comes through you naturally. So I want you to give yourself. Some permission to shut off the news and turn on that [00:07:00] spiritual podcast, or turn on that meditation music, or mantra music, or go to that yoga class, or just be in the presence of your cup of tea, looking out the window, just feeling high vibe.

Just try to be a little bit more boundaried about the energy that you're taking in and focus on the stuff that makes you feel good. You're already doing it. The final question's really beautiful. Can I really manifest when I'm struggling with anxiety or low vibes? The answer is yes, absolutely. But it's about shifting your focus on what you're manifesting.

So I want you to, right now, let go of the desire that you need to get something to feel good. I want you to release that outside desire temporarily, and I want you to focus your manifestations on feeling good. Your single pointed focus is feeling good, leaning into how can I. Manifest the desire, the biggest desire of all, which is to feel peace inside.

And I wanna remind you, you're already doing it. You've gotten to the end of this podcast, [00:08:00] and you're giving yourself that permission to feel good, to lean into something that feels elevated. So shifting your focus off of manifesting something to feel good and start focusing your desire, your primary desire on feeling good inside, that alone can change everything.

You know that moment that you catch yourself in the mirror and you think, when did those lines show up? Same. I know that moment. I definitely know that moment. You're gonna hear real questions from the audience that reflect exactly what we've been talking about today about those hidden blocks that make us feel so unworthy and confused or unsure about surrendering.

So let's [00:14:00] go there together. Who's got the mic? Hello Gabby. How are you? I'm good, sweetheart. I was in that process of writing a book, and what I would love to know is like what do you do for yourself when you are going through this like birthing process of creation and sharing all of these amazing things Like, you know, it obviously opens up so much within you as well.

Like how do you hold space for yourself to help you move you through these things as well? I think that when we are going through any kind of creative process or a birthing, as you've described it, we have to create uninterrupted space. And for me, I don't have a lot of that. So I have to find those moments, right?

I have to find those pockets because when we're in a creative space, remember we're in self energy. Self is the creator. Self is that energy of creativity and calm. And connection. And clarity, right? And so that creative energy [00:15:00] moves through us so naturally when we have the freedom to allow it to come through.

But if we're in sort of this, you know, busyness or overwhelm or stress, that creative force is blocked. And so I think first and foremost is creating an environment where that creative space can come through. Not necessarily like a specific space, but maybe it's an hour in the morning or maybe it's for, you know, I don't have a lot of free space, but I'll know when I need to write.

I write in the morning, I'll sit down and I'll write for an hour in the morning. 'cause in the morning is when that magic starts to come through me. Okay, thank you. You're welcome. Hi. Hi Gabby. I feel like with surrendering or specifically our like wanting to manifest something when, like when do you do one or the other, if that makes sense.

When do you surrender? When you wanna manifest something? So like if [00:16:00] you say you wanted to manifest something like within your business, like you wanted to hit a certain target, or should you just surrender and know that whatever's meant to be, you know what, like, great question. So you can have a vision and a goal of where you wanna go and what you want.

Then you have to surrender it every damn day when you think you've surrendered surrender more. What happens when we turn something over is. It's not that we're giving it up, as I mentioned earlier, it's that we're giving it over. We're asking for guidance. We're asking for this other way of perceiving the thing that we've been holding onto for so long.

Does that make sense? Mm-hmm. So it's not like you have to not take the actions when we're taking action on our desires, it's always gut checking, right? Am I in a place of, am I controlling? Or am I allowing? Am I forcing or am I in freedom? Am I feeling [00:17:00] optimistic, or am I looking for the obstacles? This is the energy that you bring to these next right actions.

Each right action brings you closer to your desire. So the question for you is, number one, when you think you surrender and surrender more. So surrender every single day, give it over, give it over, give it over, give it over. Where would you have me go? What would you have me do? Let it go. But more importantly, when you're in that energy of surrender, you know that is the best place to take an action.

Does that make sense? Yeah. So what does it feel like for you when you feel surrendered? For me, I feel like. Well, I actually, I've been doing it quite a lot, but like if I'm thinking, you know, am I on the right path with my business and surrendering and like, show me a sign. I watched you on YouTube the other day and you said on the YouTube, just pick something, anything.

And I was like, I can't, I don't even like cats, but I had a cat. I mean, I [00:18:00] find that offensive. I know I'm so, I don't hate cats, but I'm not, I'm a dog person. I am a cat woman. Okay, go on. But yes, a cat appeared on my P and I'm like, okay, I never see a cat ever. An actual cat was just running past. And I was like, okay.

So I know when I surrender, I give it back. I'm not trying to look for anything. I'm just like, you know, whatever appears, whatever happens. And I know when you did the meditation tonight. Yeah. Did you feel surrendered? Yeah, I, my thing was fear of what if it, you know, what if I did this, but it didn't happen?

Or is that what you put in the, in the basket? Yeah. Okay. When you, the fear of failure, when you put it in the basket, did you have a feeling calmness? There you go, baby. Beautiful. Thank you. Calm. [00:19:00] Right. What is calm? Calm is self energy. Calm is self energy. Great. Okay. Thank you, sweetheart. All right. Who's got the microphone in their hand?

Hi Gabby. That's me over vi here. Hi sweetheart. What would your advice be for someone who may be hypothetically is questioning everything in their life and doesn't know what to do next?

Not a big question, just really basic. So questioning your life path and don't know what to do next. Yeah. Well, when I said to you earlier that there's a lot going on in the world and we've got a lot of light that we need to bring, right? What did that mean to you when I said that?

I just felt really lost, to be honest. You felt lost. Okay. [00:20:00] Do you recognize the power of your positive energy, your energy that you bring into the world? Mm, I try to, but not yet. No, not yet. Okay. So if I were to say to you tonight that your high vibration, your energy, just your positive, joyful energy has a big, big purpose in this world, would you believe me if I said that to you?

Not at the moment, no. Not in this moment. Okay. That's real. Thank you. Would you recognize that when you're around other people who bring really high vibe, energy that does it make you feel good? Yes it does. Okay, so why would you be any different? Because of my block. Yeah, you have a block. Okay. We all got a block.

If somebody else can bring you joy, then that means that you can do the same. When you are in the presence of someone [00:21:00] who is in joy, you feel elevated. When you're in the presence of someone who brings you joy, it elevates the world around you. So why would any of you be any different? Why would you be any different?

Lemme pick a card. Wait, look at that. When I'm grateful for what I have, I can feel good along the way to what I desire. So being in gratitude, being in joy, being in that peace, being in that energy, that feels good inside. Okay, but now you're saying, oh, but I have a block. I don't feel that way. Right. That's what you're trying to tell me.

Yeah. How do I get out of that block? How do you get through the block Right here, right now? Are you having fun with me? Yes. Okay, good. And do you feel like your energy's a little bit more elevated in the room tonight? 'cause the people around you and you're with me and you came and I came all the way across the world to be with you.

Does that resonate for you? A hundred percent. Okay, great. And you smiling a little bit and your attitude's good. Okay. So who's sitting next to you? Do you know the [00:22:00] person sitting next to you? Nope. I came by myself. Okay. Do you guys. Did anybody feel? Yeah. Welcome. Yeah. Amazing. Do the people sitting next to her when she's, tell me, tell me how you feel being in this room now.

My love with the microphone. Tell me how you feel about being in this room. Oh, very awkward right now. Right now. Yeah. But do you, do you feel, do you feel like there's love in this room? Yeah, definitely. Do you feel that there's happy people in this room? Yes. Yeah. And then it has a contagious energy, right?

When you started just joking and saying, you know, yeah, I'm having fun in this room, Gabby, just before earlier, your whole energy started to shift with me. And so it's just that little molecule of a shift. And then I want you to reach for more of that, and then I wanna want you to reach for a little bit more of that and reach for a little bit more of that.

And so right now we can do what's a practice called the Choose Again method. And so you have this story of, I've got this burdened block, right? Yes. [00:23:00] Yeah. Okay. And it's story that's gonna require some undoing. But what I need you to really open your heart to is for, is to reach for a new thought, reach for the next best feeling thought in any given moment.

So right here, right now, here's an example. You now have a new book. You could say this to yourself. Gabby just gave me a new book. Gabby Bernstein just gave me self-help. And there's a tool in there that she says, can change my life because it says that on the cover. I know that when I'm around other people that are joyful, that makes me feel joyful, and so I feel like when I can access my joy, that is my purpose, and so I can just take small right actions, Gabby said, and each small action adds up to another small, right action, right?

These are just sort of new beliefs that I'm starting to ingrain in you tonight. If you start to reach for those beliefs that you believe in the next best feeling thought, you're reaching your way out. So every time [00:24:00] you notice yourself in the story of, I'm blocked, I don't know my purpose, I can't get there.

I want you to notice that thought. Witness that thought. Forgive yourself for having that thought. You know, it's just a thought that I keep thinking. That's a thought that I keep thinking. And then I want you to reach for the next best feeling. Thought I can go open self-help right now. I can go listen to a podcast that makes me feel better.

I can go do the four step check-in. Are you following me sweetheart? Yeah. Okay. It sounds daunting. It sounds like work. It is. You know, a lot of people wanna make you think like, oh, you know, everything's so easy when you start to enter into these rooms and it can be so effortless. It's not, it's not easy to undo decades of burdened beliefs, guys.

It's just not, that might not be the story you wanted to hear tonight. It's the truth, and I'm not gonna lie to you. And I think that that's the thing we have to recognize is that it's not easy, right? To have those shifts. But the [00:25:00] miracle, the miracle is that when we do, when we make those shifts, that's when we can heal.

So while I'm saying, okay, it's not necessarily easy to create these shifts, it can be easy each day, right? One small, right. Action daily can create big change. Okay, who's got the microphone? Hi Gabby. So my question to you, and I hope that I can articulate it in a way that makes sense, is, you know, like with all of these meditations and all of these processes, like these internal processes, it always begins with like, claim what you want, articulate what you want, get clear on what you want to visualize what you want.

And it, I don't wanna use the word blocked because it's not a block, but it's. The thing that I see, I don't really see, but the feeling is like it's not a thing. It's like a construct, like a beautiful life and there's so many components [00:26:00] to a beautiful life. And I'm just wondering what your thoughts are around like when you can't access the what it is that you want or when what it is that you want is just so big and so abstract.

I don't know what thoughts you have around that. I think what I'm hearing you say is that you wanna manifest a feeling, not specifically a thing, am I correct? No, it's not, it's not a feeling. It's like, I don't wanna say grand life, but like a beautiful life, you know, like a, an abundant life with all of those component pieces to it.

Okay, beautiful. I'm gonna give you a visualization meditation and I want you to visualize what that. Not just looks like, but allow your mind to wander. And this is where the real magic happens, guys, when you let your mind wander in these meditative states, and we're gonna do it together. We're gonna have an experience night of really being in this visioning, okay?

[00:27:00] Of what your subconscious mind wants to reveal to you. And so you might see things that you wouldn't have thought otherwise, but you'll open your heart at the beginning to this desire of this beautiful life that you long for, and then I want you to let your inner wisdom reveal to you what that means.

Okay? Okay. Okay. That's what we're gonna do. Who's got the mic? I wanted to ask how you kind of touched on it already, but how you can move out of grief and change your energy. Yeah, so we can have really difficult times in our life where we can be in experiences like grief, and you don't necessarily wanna move out of grief too quickly because you wanna allow yourself to have the experience of healing and to give the grief the journey that it needs.

But you can also be grieving and still have fun. You can be grieving and still be hopeful. You can be grieving and still be optimistic. You can be grieving and still give yourself rest. [00:28:00] So I wouldn't wanna push you to get out of grief. I would pray for you to move through grief with ease. You with me?

Yeah. I see that resonates with you. Yeah. Beautiful. So grief and joy can coexist. Okay. Thank you sweetheart. Hi baby. Hello. And then after you we'll do a nice meditation. Okay. Um, my comment today is to say thank you very much and there's a bit of a story and I'm wondering if you can play along with me.

Okay. My name's Sarah by the way, and it felt very serendipitous to have Sarah speak up again before, and it was great to hear your story. So it's a common problem for women with children to speak to the idea of having hidden yourself from even your children. I was at that point [00:29:00] last year, last February, and I was free falling, left a relationship.

Empty nester. Where to start. I had to pivot and using those tiny techniques, your book, super attractor, played a huge part in changing my life from which sounds unlikely, especially, um, when I was shining so bright years ago. I'm a singer and I'm all about vibrational frequency, but I dulled my light to please others.

And so step by step, those tiny moments by moments, being thankful for a blue sky, being thankful for a hot cup of tea, being thankful for a hot shower. Just the small things to change my vibe. Okay. Moving forward to, I remember watching your videos on YouTube all the time and then commenting, I have this vision, I had to tune into myself and what do I wanna do?

What does my legacy want to look like? How do I wanna serve the [00:30:00] world? Okay. I wanted to improve and I want to improve the quality of our food to help raise the consciousness of our society. Okay. Saturday, the first trip ever overseas when I fly over to Boston, yes. Is the beginning of a new job. What?

Working with a company or a not-for-profit based in the us. Nice around defining the term nutrient density to improve the quality of our food supply, to improve our planetary health. Go girl. And to raise the money to manifest that into reality. So beautiful. Thank you. Beautiful. Thank you, my love.

Congratulations. Well, that's, that's, I mean, I think what you just shared is so beautiful. It's the subtle shifts. You can go from being in one vibration to a different vibration by making the commitment. By being in the committed action, the committed steps, the committed momentum of I'm gonna choose to see things differently.

So let's do that. Let's do a deeper dive right now. We've got a little bit of time left. We're gonna do it. We're gonna [00:36:00] do a deep meditation. Then I'm gonna come back for a few more questions at the end. Okay. But I wanna give you an experience just for a few moments right now of just listening. How often do you get a chance to just be still and listen to your inner wisdom?

Never. Right? Let's listen. So gently close your eyes and place your hands on your heart and your hand, one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly. And take a deep breath in and then let that breath go opening your heart and your mind right now to what is possible inside of you.

And I want you to take that desire you have in your heart. For that guidance that you need, and as you breathe in deeply and exhale [00:37:00] completely, I welcome you to ask for what you need. Ask the universe for what you need.

What you believe you want or need, asking the universe for what you need, be unapologetic about what you ask for. Open your heart more as you ask. Give it over. And now listen. [00:38:00] Breathe deeply. Inhale completely, and exhale completely. And as you deepen your breath, I want you to listen and just be still. And listen, be still and listen. Breathing deeply. Exhale completely. Be still and listen.[00:39:00]  Deep breath in and let it go. Breathe in and send out a sigh of relief. Deep breath in and listen. Relaxing your mind, relax your face. Relax your shoulders. Relax your jaw. Just let yourself be. The[00:40:00]  let yourself be still. Take one last deep breath in. Deep breath in, and let it go.

And just relax your body more, relax your mind [00:41:00] more. Give yourself permission. To just cherish this moment of stillness, relaxing, relax, safe here. You're loved here. Just feel that love and feel that safety, and feel that love in this room, and feel that connection in this room. Feel the vibration shifting. Feel the energy attuning. Feeling that feeling. Maybe you had a shift inside. Since we've been here, that shift is manifesting. The shift inside is what manifests the energy inside you. That changes is the energy that is attuned with the energy of the universe. And in that attuned energy, you begin to think about things and they start to appear.

And in that attuned energy, you start to attract more of what you want into your life. And in that simple, attuned energy, you start to feel a new frequency. That is what manifesting is. That is what spiritual practice is. It's a change in your mind and it's a change in your energy, and in that [00:44:00] shift you start to feel a new frequency.

How many of you in this room tonight felt a different frequency at one point tonight?

How many of you believe that you could find and access that frequency again? How many of you're committed to finding and accessing that frequency again, then you'll have an effortless experience manifesting because it's that energy guys. It's getting into the energy that allows, it's getting into the energy that allows. Okay, who's got the mic? I did the manifestation just then and it was completely black. I can't work out what my block is, and I'm sure that other people can't work out what their blocks are.

So we're gonna see blocks. We're gonna feel burdened, we're gonna feel stuck. We're gonna feel like we don't know [00:45:00] the next right action or the next right action. It's just inevitable. This is the reality. This is what's going on for us. We've had decades and decades and decades of living with burden beliefs.

Yeah. We've built up belief systems that have become patterns. Those patterns have become behaviors. But the subtle energetic shift, the little frequency of feeling a little bit more calm, or that subtle energy of peace that came through, that is what we have to add up. We add up those small, subtle shifts, and then when those subtle shifts become to expand in our mind and our mind's eye and our frequency, we begin to open our hearts to see the world around us differently.

And so you're going to feel blocked, guys. You're gonna feel blocked. You're gonna feel like, oh, I don't know. Wanna go on like this. But the thing is, is that we have to make our beliefs stronger than our blocks. We have to make our beliefs [00:46:00] stronger than our blocks. So tonight we talked about recognizing that there are core beliefs that have held us back from the beliefs that we wanna step into.

We've recognized that there's parts of us inside that we, when we get squeezed, we wanna lash out and we wanna blame others. But what we have in the power in this room tonight is the power and the capacity to change our minds and change our lives. And so you came here tonight with a desire to change, and being in this room tonight says to me that you are willing to change your mind.

So I've armed you with tools and it is your job now to take that dream that is in your heart and make it your reality by shifting your mind one thought at a time. Are you willing to do that Brisbane? Yep, you are willing. That last one particularly was very moving to me, so I want you to really keep trusting that your desires are indeed on the way and keep bringing your energy back into that place of feeling worthy [00:47:00] and feeling connected.

I want you to remember that when you choose alignment, your desires become inevitable, and it's not about how much you do, it's about how aligned you are. I just want you to take that in. I love you. I love you. I love you, and I can't wait to see you next week.
