Most people think vision boards are about cutting out pictures or you know, just putting out. High vibes onto a board. It's much more than that. It's a lot more than that. And so I'm gonna teach you how to create a [00:01:00] board that's gonna become like an energetic portal for aligning your intentions and your desires with the universe so that they can be a match in your life.

This is a very specific practice that I've never really taught before actually. So I'm really excited to teach it to you today. And. Think about cutting out pretty pictures for magazines and just hoping for the best. But what have I told [00:03:00] you? Almost everyone is actually missing the single most important step.

The one crucial piece. The most crucial piece that turns your vision board from just a fun project into a powerful portal for co-creating with the universe. Today, we're gonna go far beyond just gluing and wishing, okay? This is a big, big shift. We're going to dive into the real energy and the science of how to create a vision board that truly works.

And I'm gonna teach you this method that's helped me and thousands of my students manifest incredible things. And this isn't just about attracting what you want, it's actually about becoming an energetic match for the life that you desire. So why do so many vision boards end up collecting dust in people's homes?

Why do they not work? It's because we treat them like a shopping list for the universe. We want that big, fancy car. We want that house. We want that diamond ring. We fill our boards with things that we think we should want, but we miss the entire point. A vision board is not a [00:04:00] wishlist, it's a frequency practice.

The true purpose of a vision board is to be a physical anchor for feelings that you wanna experience in your next chapter, and it's the feeling that needs to be ignited when you create the board. The feeling of abundance, the feeling of connection, of joy and peace. The universe doesn't respond to your pictures.
It responds to your energy and what the visions actually ignite inside of you. The feelings that come up, it responds to your frequency. So when your board is just sort of a collection of material goals and you don't feel worthy of those goals, then you're actually sending the wrong signal to the universe.

You're sending a signal of not feeling worthy, not feeling good enough. And that's an energetic conflict, and that's what's blocking your manifestations every single time. And the secret isn't in what you put on the board, it's in how the images make you feel. The feeling is a secret. The key is to choose images and words that make you feel the way that you [00:05:00] wanna feel, and to help you feel inspired and guided and intuitive.

Now, this doesn't mean that you can't have one specific material desire on your board by no means. Of course, I had my engagement ring on my board for five years before my husband proposed to me. He should have been looking at the board, but of course, you could always put those desires there. But the real work is to get curious about the feeling behind the desire.

So if you wanna manifest a new home, that's great. You can ask yourself, when I imagine being in that new home, how does it make me feel? And does it make me feel safe? Does it make me feel grounded? Does it make me feel peaceful? Do I feel inspired? Creative? And that's the frequency that you wanna capture.

So the images that you choose should represent that feeling. It might be an actual house, or it might be a picture of like a cozy blanket and a fireplace. Whatever it is that represents the actual physical, emotional feeling of the desire, and you're anchoring into that energetic essence and not just focusing on some material thing.[00:06:00] 

In my own life, I've had many vision boards and the vision boards that I've had that have had the most effect in my life for the ones that ignited the greatest spark. I've shared many times that I took a picture of Oprah interviewing somebody and I cut myself out and I put myself over that image of the person.

And I looked at it every single day and I just witnessed myself with Oprah. And I felt the feeling. And I felt the feeling. I did this for a year before I got the call to be interviewed on Oprah Super Soul Sunday. It was the feeling that I ignited in that meditation, looking at the vision board and feeling the greatness of it.

And right now I still actually have a picture of me and Oprah on my desk as another reminder for more creative collaboration. So, Oprah, if you're listening, I'm still manifesting more. And so it's out there. We create these visions, we put them in front of us, and they feel good inside of us. And the feeling is what ignites the manifestation.

So put the images that make you feel good. There's also a surprising science behind why this works. Now, this isn't spiritual woo woo. There is actually [00:07:00] powerful neuroscience that explains exactly why this method is so effective. First, you have something in your brainstem called the reticular activating system, or the RAS, and so think of the RAS as your brain's filter, and it's constantly scanning the millions of bits of information around you and only letting in what it believes is important.

When you create a vision board and look at it daily, especially when you connect with the feeling of it, you're actually programming your RAS to tell the brain, pay attention to this. Look for those opportunities that feel like this. Your brain is subconsciously starting to notice people and ideas and pathways that match the vibration of the board.

Things that you would have completely missed before start to show up in your life. Because you've focused your attention there, your brain is now filtering to find that guidance and lead you towards that desire. And second, the process leverages neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to recognize itself by [00:08:00] forming new neural connections.

You guys have probably been seeing Dr. Tara Swart, the amazing author. She's been out doing so many amazing interviews, and Tara explains, when you repeatedly visualize your goals and you feel the emotions of achieving them, you're actually literally rewiring your brain. So by looking at these emotionally charged images daily, you're strengthening the neural pathways associated with that reality. So you're not just wishing you're actually actively upgrading your brain to match your future desire.

So, are you ready to do this? Let's build a vision board that's actually gonna work. Now, you can absolutely create a digital vision board, which I love. I do it on Pinterest, and you can just get a folder on your phone or a Pinterest board. And I wanna invite you to consider creating a physical one though, because I think that that's a way for you to really get creative and bring in that creative energy.

Because your creative energy is part of why a visioning process works. There's something really incredibly powerful about. The tactile practice of just cutting and pasting and physically creating this anchor, and it actually makes it kind of more real, if that makes sense to you. It makes it more visible in your daily life, and it's [00:13:00] also bigger so you can actually look at it more frequently and you don't actually have to look at your phone, which is gonna distract you.

You can look at this vision board and make it also meditative. So the first step is I want you to get clear about the feeling, not that material thing, the feeling behind it. So before you touch any single image, take some time to meditate and journal and ask yourself, how do I wanna feel? And what emotions do I want to be my compass?

I want you to write down three to five core desired feelings. And maybe there are feelings of peace inside, or feeling energized or creative or abundant or in love. Get clear on the feeling. Step two, hunt for feelings, not things. So now you're gonna go find your images and you have so many more tools than just magazines.

You can look for photos online that resonate with you, and you can print them out. You can even use AI and maybe describe what you wanna make and what you want these images to be. You can use your own personal photos from times that you felt joyful [00:14:00] and really alive and awakened in your life. Again, if you use ai, you could use the AI image generator, and this can create the exact picture of your desire.

So you wanna visualize yourself walking down the aisle or receiving a paycheck or winning the race. You can literally create the exact image you want with your own face, your own likeness. Just make your own AI images. It's gonna be a very powerful way to ignite the feeling. And step three is to create your sacred portal.

So now this is the time to bring your vision to life. And as you arrange your images, I want you to think of this board as a portal. It's like a bridge between the energy that you hold now and the reality that you're calling in, that reality that you're manifesting. It's the meeting place of your thoughts.

Your emotions and your intentions. So your vision board becomes like a physical reminder of where you're directing your energy, and each time you look at it, you're actually signaling to your brain and to the universe, this is who I'm [00:15:00] becoming. As you glue everything down, you feel gratitude for that future that you co-create, and it becomes this portal energy.

Where you can actually hold the visions and create powerful, energetic momentum behind them. And then this next step is the daily practice. This is the step that makes all of the difference. Okay, so this is where you place your board, somewhere that you can see it, and each day that you look at it for just 60 seconds at least, I want you to not just look at it, but I want you to feel into it, feel the energy that it ignites inside of you.

I want you to look at an image and just close your eyes and just feel into the feeling of freedom. Feel into the feeling of joy and love and abundance, whatever it is that you're cultivating, and just let that feeling wash over you. Let the feelings from those images ignite a spark inside of you. This daily ritual is constantly preparing your subconscious mind for what's coming.

It's reinforcing the neural pathways. [00:16:00] It keeps your desires at the forefront of your awareness, and it's constantly reinforcing the feeling of already having these desires in your life. So these four steps are gonna put you into such a powerful point of attraction, and they're gonna prepare you for what's coming as you prepare these steps.

So this is about what the feeling is that you want to borrow, and you can do this every single day. So now let's listen to the segment. I'm going to read a passage from my book, super Attractor. It's in chapter two. It's good to feel good. There's a method that I call the Think it [00:20:00] to Feel IT method, and it's such an upbeat, positive, elevating practice.

So here it's the think it to feel IT method lets you borrow a moment of happiness that you're able to identify and apply to a situation that you're otherwise struggling in. So. When you have an issue, and the example I give in the book is about how I often felt like I was out of control. And this is a topic I've talked about a lot and I'm so happy to say that I'm in recovery from this, but I often would fear the part of me that felt out of control.

And so I would try to control things and I felt anxious often, and that anxiety was something I really wanted to live without. I didn't have a benchmark for what it was like to live without anxiety because I'd never known that I'd lived with an anxiety disorder my whole life that was undiagnosed. And so because I didn't understand that, I did identify it in another person.

A very close friend of mine, her name is Dr. Elisa Hallerman. She's one of my best friends. [00:21:00] She's a really relaxed person. Her job is, she's an interventionist, a drug and alcohol counselor. She works with people in extreme situations when they're getting into treatment and she helps people get into treatment, and she does much more than that.

But I wanted to help you understand how heightened a job she has, how much anxiety there could be around that job. But she's always so chill. She's just like, okay. You need to get on the plane now and keep drinking until you get off the plane, like whatever it is that she needs to deal with. She's just so mellow, and I always wanted that for myself, but I didn't have a point of reference of what that could be for me.

But I had her. So even though I couldn't identify the area of my life that was free of anxiety yet I had a sense of what it felt like when I was around Elisa. So I would meditate on that feeling. I would ask myself at times, what would Elisa do? I would just really give myself permission [00:22:00] to believe and dream about what that could feel like.

I'd affirm how I want it to feel. The affirmation was, everything is happening around me. I'm truly taken care of. That was my affirmation, and I kept leaning into that feeling, and I would borrow the feeling from my experience of her, even though it wasn't something I fully experienced yet in my own life.

I could feel into it and thinking about it allowed me to feel it. And then the feeling, it allowed me to transform my own ability to assume that energy. And so the more I practiced thinking and feeling into what it was like to be around Elisa, the more comfortable I became in that state of peace. And the more I sent a message to the universe, yeah, I want to feel ease.

I want to be free of anxiety, and therefore, the more support systems that I needed were guided into my life. [00:23:00] The more conscious awareness was present for me to make that commitment, and one day at a time, I continued to dismantle that anxiety and get to where I am today. Which is where I can say to you, with all of my heart, everything is happening around me and I am truly taking care of.

It took me 42 years to get here. That's fast, right? 42 years of hard work for overnight success. Who cares how long it takes? Once you get there, you get there. Enjoy it when you're there, and here I am free of anxiety. My team could tell you when the SHIT hits the fan. I'm usually, maybe I have a first responder that's like a protector part that's like, what are we gonna do?

But then pretty quickly I get to a place of, okay, let's find the solution. What's the plan? Here we go. So I'm really proud to share that with you. The method, really, I want you to really think [00:24:00] about an area of your life where you have some spiritual proof. It could have been, maybe you wanna attract romance into your life, and the last time you had real romance was when you were 16.

Think about that time when you were 16 and allow your mind to wander, go into that envisioning space of visualizing yourself in that relationship. Even today, I was just feeling quite disconnected from my close friends. My best friend, one of my soulmates in this lifetime is my friend McKayla Ezra, who's designed all of our decks, and she is a soulmate.

You can have many soulmates and they don't have to always be romantic. And I was missing her and missing connection, and I just was listening to some music in the car. It was a love song, but I just kept thinking about like Michaela and I and this trip that we took to the Hamptons one time when we were totally broke and we slept in the back of my car and we woke up in the morning when I went to an AA meeting and it was like this ridiculous weekend of just swimming on the beach and just finding [00:25:00] random places to go shower and it brought me into such an energy of feeling that connection.

So even if I can't physically be with her and she's across the world in Australia, I can still feel into that relationship. So you think it to feel it. And as you feel it, you start to cultivate that energy. And so just because something isn't in our present form in this moment doesn't mean that we can't co-create that reality by being in the thought and the feeling of what it is that we want to create in our life.

She's in Jerusalem, everybody. I would love to be in Jerusalem right now. What a beautiful place to be. Yeah, it's a pretty wild city.

How can I help you? Wow. [00:31:00] Oh my gosh. I know. Everyone always says, oh, I had a feeling I was gonna be picked, and then they're picked. I totally had that feeling too. You knew today was your day. 

Yeah. So I guess my question is, I'm sort of in like a, I'm in a, a place right now where I feel like a lot of shifts are happening in my life and I'm, I'm doing a lot of inner work and I, I guess I just really struggle with having patience with my journey.

And also I, I am, I'm constantly wishing that I was eight steps ahead of where I am now. Ooh, okay. And I, I just, I feel like I do a lot of the reading and I do a lot of the work, but there's, there's a part of like authentically embodying it that I feel like I struggle with. 

Mm-hmm.  All right, so you are doing all the spiritual work.

You're on your personal growth path. You feel like you should be 10 steps ahead from where you are right now, [00:32:00] and that's, you know, that's bringing you, that's bringing you down and you, you have a sense, and you know that you want to embody the belief and not get hung up in the expectation. Is that what I'm hearing from you?

Yeah. I just feel like I'm not seeing, yeah, I guess I'm just not seeing the kind of results that I, okay. This 
card, honey, our card for today was made for you. True manifesting is about receiving what is of the highest good for all. So you're doing everything right in that you are open to a spiritual practice.

You're willing to grow, you're showing up for your practice. You're reading books, you're doing the work you're here on, dear Gabby, you're showing up. You're showing up, you're showing up. You're doing a lot of doing though, and you're also doing a lot of expecting. And so a lot of doing and a lot of expecting are two major blocks to your ability to attract what it is that you want into your life.

And so it's the doing, doing, doing that actually creates sort of a manic manifesting vibration, which is, [00:33:00] how do I get that? How do, what am I, what do I do next? Gotta do this thing next, how to do this thing next. And that lacks the belief system that I can be still and I can allow. That's number one.

Number two, being in the expectation of what you think things should be is another block to your manifesting power and your super attractor power, which is what I call it, because your expectations are limiting the possibilities. Your expectations are limiting the highest good as this card says. So when we start to pray for what is of the highest good, rather than intend and pray for what we think we need, that's when the universe can conspire with what it is that is of the highest good for all.

So ultimately what's happening is all the doing, doing doing is energetically blocking. And all the expecting, expecting, expecting is blocking the manifestation as well. Because when you're in this tunnel vision of expectation, it should be this way, I should be further along. I shouldn't be here. What's happening is you're missing the opportunity to [00:34:00] recognize where you are, how great things are in this moment, what is possible in this moment, the creative possibility in this moment, the exciting potential in this moment.

You're blocking it, blocking it, blocking it, blocking it, blocking it, blocking it. I want you to sit on your ass. I want you to stop doing, doing, doing. I want you to start being, being, being, which is what you also said. You're actually Dear Gabby, being yourself, you said, I want to embody the feeling. I wanna embody the emotion.

The being is a presence. It's an energy, it's a state. It's not an action. True manifesting does require us to show up for our desires. You know, you gotta pick up the phone and then call the job interview and you have to ask for the date and you have to, to do whatever it is that you wanna create. But ultimately, the greatest source of [00:35:00] power that we have to attract what we want is how we feel.
Yeah. And I'm glad that resonates with you. 

Yeah. Yeah, it's kind of frustrating also because I'm starting like a spiritual business, like I'm starting a sound healing business, and so it feels even more like, I don't know how to find that balance of just being still and like. 

Well, okay. In my book, super Attractor, I teach the Spiritually Aligned Action Method, which I've taught on this show before, and the concept is that it's not.

That manifesting is just sitting on your ass and meditating and then shit comes to you. Manifesting is about really getting grounded in the alignment with what feels good, what inspires you, and then taking the necessary actions to co-create your desires from an energy. That is grounded and inspired, and faithful and loving and at ease.

[00:36:00] So what I'm going to ask you to do is to not stop taking the actions towards this desired business, but to check yourself along the way. When you notice that you're taking an action from a place of frantic energy or neediness, I want you to step away, go have an ice cream, go have a falafel in Jerusalem, go, I'm, I'm serious, like, please have one for me.

Go for a swim. Do something that gets you out of that frantic state, and then when you start feeling good. Take the action. Whenever we take action from a place of tension, we actually block the possibility of what that action could be. Got me.

So you have a baby on your own. You're a single mama. No, I have my husband along. Okay, good. So you have a baby, you're managing the household and you wanna have a studio. Okay, so here's something that I once heard Ariana Huffington say to a group of an audience. She said, you can have it all. But not always at the same time, and I love this, I loved it because we can be mamas and we can have our businesses, and we can have our abundance, and we can have our relationships, and we can have all that we [00:38:00] desire, but sometimes it's not all at the same time.

And that's because there's different periods in our life when we may need to be in more with those little babies. And sometimes we can be out more and the universe will provide for us the divine. Time and order that is like our card said today of the highest good for all. So in no way, my love do. I want you to limit your capacity to a manifest, attract and live out this dream.

But I want you to let go of your timeline and your agenda and welcome what is of the highest. Good for all. What is of the highest good for your baby? What is of the highest good for you? What is of the highest good for your husband? What is of the highest good for your family? And open up to the creative possibility that this desire is indeed on the way, but in a way that is better than you could have imagined.

So that's the message for every single one of you today to drive home this message that you can have it all and it may not be all at the same [00:39:00] time. And that is actually indeed a better plan than the one that you had in the first place. So take your hands off the wheel, stop trying to control the universe and let the universe show you what to do.

Stay in the energy of what is of the highest good for all. Stop focusing on what you think you need. The universe will indeed catch up with your dreams. Got me. 

And so I was thinking how would I get my team members along and the work will flow ahead How? How I'll get people along with me to work for that.

The studio project I have in my mind. I think that you're not completely hearing me soman. Okay? My desire for you is to hold this vision and give it over. Surrender is not giving up. It's a giving over. I want you to give it over, and I want you to let the universe show you the steps, show you what to do.

Stay grounded in your intuition, and stay grounded [00:40:00] in your inspired state, and stay grounded in the possibilities and stay grounded in what's of the highest good for all and what will be will be shown and developed for you. Good feeling thoughts, because the thing that you are self-identifying as having most in your way is the negative thoughts. Am I correct?

All those negative fear-based thoughts. And so what we need to do right now is really reorganize your day-to-day thought systems. To be more proactive in the support of what it is that you want to show up for, what you want to create and how you want to turn your life around. So I wanna make a simple adjustment for you, Juan.

Are you ready for that? Yes.  I want you to claim right now that you're ready to turn your life upside down. Yes. [00:42:00] That you're ready to stop playing small. You're ready to focus on what you do want and be unapologetic about it because I'm looking at you now and you're a young man. You've got this great energy coming through the screen.

You're here on, dear Gabby, you're showing up for your personal growth at a young age. How old are you, sweetheart?  I'm 20. 20. My goodness. Oh my God. I'm so glad we're getting to you so young. Okay, so here you are. You're 20 years old. You're showing up on, dear Gabby, you're obviously on a spiritual path and a personal growth path.

You're doing everything right, and so I just wanna just do a minor tweak, which is that there is the ability to get into the momentum of creating what you do want and the ability to, to block it. You've identified that you've been blocking it with those negative thoughts, and today we're gonna redirect.

I wanna give you a quantum shift today, okay? I want you to claim in this moment with me right now that you're committed to high vibration thoughts, that you're committed to perceiving your [00:43:00] circumstances through. The positive lens that you're committed to showing up for your life. And the thing is, is when we have that fear of failure, right?

We like afraid to take an action because we're scared to fail, or who am I to do this? The simplest way out of that fear of failure is to just feel good in the moment, is to just lean into a positive thought in the moment, is to have fun in the moment. And so I want you to remember this over and over again.

My ability to have fun, my ability to lean into joy is all I need for success. Okay. You don't have to measure your success based on how perfectly you're doing things, but instead on how much fun you're having and how good you feel. So if your only priority is to feel good and to think positive thoughts and to lean into good vibrations, and that doesn't mean that you don't have bad days, and that doesn't mean that you don't deal with some negative things.

You gotta show up for those negative things, but you show up for them with a solution oriented mindset. You show up for them with a positive affirmation of how you wanna move through it. [00:44:00] You show up with grace. And so my love, you're young, you're spiritual, you're here, you've got a lot of life ahead of you.

If you take this direction and create this quantum shift now, which is that I don't have to be perfect. I just wanna focus on feeling good. Everything will unfold perfectly for you. That is perfection. Yes. You feel it, right? Yes. Are you open to having a quantum shift today, baby? I do. Yes. I wanted to.

That's why you're here. I love it. I wanna, okay, so you're here. You're on Dear Gabby. You've got the opportunity to change your attitude, change your mind, change your perception.
