Let’s talk about angels.

Every night when I tuck my son into bed, we say a prayer together: “Thank you, angels, for keeping bad dreams away tonight. Thank you for protecting us as we sleep. Thank you.” 

Ollie then raises his hands in the air, giving the angels a big hug, and says, “Huggies for everyone.”

In these quiet moments before he falls asleep, my son is establishing his own connection to the spiritual realm, borrowing from my faith and developing trust in guidance, finding comfort in the knowledge that he is never alone.

It's really like a prayer to the universe whenever we turn inward. And you know, I like to talk to angels. That's what today's topic is about. That is. When I'm with my son at night, we say a prayer to the angels. We say thank you angels for no bad dreams tonight. We say thank you angels for helping keeping us safe, keeping us strong.

And then Ollie puts his arms up in the air and he starts going like this, like he starts hugging the air and he goes, huggies for everyone. That's really beautiful. Huggies for everyone. He starts hugging the angels. I think, yeah, you have to have an awareness or an interest like it, for me, like, again, it started when I was listening to conversations you were having with your friends, Marion DeMarco and Nicola Baron Reed and Bradley Valentine and all these people who are these amazing people, psychics and mediums and angel experts.

Being my age. And not having had this through my life, I'm so bummed, but I'm so excited that I can have it moving forward because it makes a big difference in your life. Well, like, let's just go to your visual age where you look like you're 45. We'll go to 45 and you're at 45. Exactly. My, my son's Danny was like, I cannot believe he's 45.

Right. And I'm like, not really, but, but you, you feel like you are. Thank you. So. I'm almost 45. Come, come to my age with me. And here we are, midlife. We can, we can really feel this experience now. What a nice point, Josh. It's never too late to surrender to your [00:07:00] faith. Exactly. It's never too late to surrender to your faith.

That's a big one. Name of the episode. Name of the episode. Well, this episode is about archangels. Archangels. And so what we did was we did some research. When I speak to angels, I speak to my own personal angel. Her name is Lily. She's come to me in my meditations and my channeling. She is a beautiful, young, blonde angel.

It's just how she reveals herself to me. Her name is Lily. She is my guide. She shows up in many, many unique ways. She's definitely supportive of my family. But then we also have these personal angels. We have also angelic presence from the seven archangels, which is what we've really dove into this now recently as we start to develop more of a relationship with these angels now.

So we're going to teach you guys about the seven archangels and I'll riff a little bit about what each of them mean to me. and how you can start to invoke that angelic presence into your life. I love that because [00:08:00] like you said, you were talking about Lily and I remember you very early on when I started working with you, you were talking to Rebecca Rosen and I love the fact that like every time she does a reading for you, she cannot remember That she told you about Lily.

That's right. So every time she has a reading, she's like, why do I hear an L name? It's an angel L. And I'm like, every time, Rebecca. But the coolest part about this is that I've been channeling Lily, this angel for years. This was about 15 years ago. I was channeling this angel. She'd come through when I was trying to support other people or myself.

And then I had my first reading with Rebecca Rosen, who's a gorgeous medium who we've had on the show. And she says, who's Lily? And I was like, thank you for the affirmation, Lily, because I knew that I was channeling this guy, but I wasn't fully surrendered yet to my own psychic abilities. And so trusting that was sort of, I wasn't totally trusting what I was hearing.

And Rebecca affirming that for me. was so loud, was so clear. And that's what your angels will [00:09:00] do for you. They will affirm their presence. So for me, I was hearing Lily and then here Rebecca was the medium coming in saying, who is Lily? But for folks out there that think that they have this angelic presence and you feel like it's a masculine energy, or you feel like it's a young, youthful female energy or whatever it is, trust that and ask that presence to reveal signs for you.

That they're there could be a sign that you ask for. It could be maybe you walk into a room and you see a huge, you know, angel wing photo on the wall or whatever it might be that the angel presence is with you always. And now I'm channeling now I'm feeling it. Can we pick a card? Cause all of a sudden now I'm channeling and I want to just see where we go with this because, okay.

So the angels have shown up today, Josh, they're literally with me right now. And you guys know when I'm channeling, my left hand goes numb. My right hand is up. I'll take the universe has your back cards. Thank you. And we will. Really just take it a moment to ask the angels of the highest truth and compassion.

Now that they're here with us, they're like, [00:10:00] yeah, yeah, Gabby, we want to talk to you. And they show me right now them clapping their hands and they're just like, just in pure joy. All right, let's pull a card. Let's pull a card. Let's see what they want. Thank you angels. for revealing to us what we want to know or need to know or what is of the highest good for all. The presence of love will always cast out fear. Excellent. Love that. There you go. Love that card. So that's, that's kind of the past card.

This is like a nice way to pull these cards is to think about the first one being the past and here's the present. I surrendered to a power greater [00:16:00] than me. Thank you angels. Now this is beautiful for me because I saw a blue butterfly. Blue butterflies, as you know, are one of my signs for my son. Oh, and, and I had a late stage pregnancy, if you haven't heard that I had to let go of.

And my son shows up to me as a blue butterfly. And when we were entering the building, there was a store outside the building of the studio and there was a blue butterfly I saw this morning. And then whenever the angels come in, I will be reminded of his presence. And he's sort of here with me now saying, I'm an angel, I'm an angelic presence in your life.

I surrender to a power greater than me. And then let's pick another card from the angels. This is where we're going. Where are we going? Where are we going? Ooh, I picked a bunch, but Ooh, I witnessed the darkness and call on the light with my prayer. Thank you universe for guiding me to perceive this fear through the eyes of the teacher of love.

Literally. I'm not joking. Full body chills. Full. That's actually another, [00:17:00] so I'll read this again, but that actually is a sign that angels are with you is that chills up your spine, your hair, your little baby hairs on your arm go up in the air. You just start to feel this tingling. That's a presence of angels.

I witness the darkness and call on the light with my prayer. Thank you, universe, for guiding me to perceive this fear through the eyes of the teacher of love. I literally am speechless. Beautiful, right? Yeah. Okay, great. So we, thank you, angels. Thank you for this message. Thank you for these messages. I'm going to break down for you guys the different archangels and then I'll riff on each one.

Now, it's nice to know that there's these archangels out there. If you're not yet, fully aligned with the fact that you have your own unique angels or you don't know what an angel guide is. Here's, here's some examples. So Archangel Michael is the most well known. I think, you know, he, he shows up with his sword and he's got this blue light around him and he is a presence of protection.

So when [00:18:00] Ollie was a baby, I would say, may Archangel Michael protect you, watch over you. I've experienced the presence of Michael. It's like almost taking over the room. It's like this. Like huge energy that just blasts through the room. And when you're in a situation where you feel unsafe. Say, thank you, Archangel Michael, for helping me right now.

Say it and it will be so cool because you're actually sitting with this blue light all around you. It's so dope. Yeah. And it was like, there's blue everywhere. Yeah. He's like shining blue behind him. Your face is blue. You're like a smurf. I'm a smurf. Um, and Rhea has this like hydration, alkaline water light behind her.

So she's like glowing blue as well. It's like this blue glowing room today. Here we are. And then you can also call on Archangel Raphael and this is the beautiful angel who is assisting in physical healing. And Raphael shows up as a green light and a green presence. And this is great for addicts, like if you're dealing with [00:19:00] addiction, if you're struggling with a physical condition, sometimes I'll visualize, even if I have like my vocal cords, I'll visualize green light.

Raphael's green light pouring into my cords. And this emerald green light. And when you can envision this light surrounding whatever health concern that you have, you're invoking the presence of Archangel Raphael. Why would you ever want to not live with your angel? Yeah, you wouldn't want to ever not live with your angel.

I mean, why? Then there's Gabriel. The Communicator. Ha ha ha. So perfectly named. Archangel Gabriel is a messenger for God, and it's the angel of communication. So for me, it's, it's so beautiful. It's my name. And Gabriel helps the artists and the writers and the teachers share their messages with clarity.

Now, How cool is that? That's amazing. You know, I think that that's my gift is to be a translator and a communicator and to speak clearly. And I believe that Gabriel has been a big guide for me when I'm on stage, when I walk out on stage, I'll ask [00:20:00] Gabriel to help me. If you have an important message you need to share, ask Gabriel to speak through you for clarity.

Yep. Finding the words that you need to say. Yes. If you have a big thing you need to address or an issue in your life, ask for the clear direction and guidance. Then there's Ariel, and if you love animals, this is your, your angel, Archangel Ariel. She's the angel of nature and she protects the planet's resources and the ecosystems and all animals.

And when you connect with Ariel, you're connected to nature. So if you're out in nature, that's how you can bring in and invoke that connection. And this is often really great for environmental advocates and you can, you know, just use Ariel's energy to support you in that work if you are an environmentalist in any way.

Or if you're gardening. That's me. You're a gardener. All right, tell me about Jothiel, who's, is beauty of God, and is the archangel who supports artists. So she is the archangel of [00:21:00] creativity, wisdom, fresh ideas. Jophiel clears chaos and brings calm into our lives. And you can call on her to manifest beauty into your life and guide your thoughts back to love.

And she will always help you gain a new perspective. Jophiel. And then there's Azrael. And that is the angel who helps people when they're dying, assisting you in death. It's almost like a death doula Azrael. So if you have a experience where you're trying to midwife someone into the next phase of their life, call on Azrael to support you.

Beautiful. And then we have Shamuel. Shamuel is on the mission to bring peace to the world. And with Shamuel, we can really help ending suffering. And the anxieties and the struggles of the world. And these are beautiful angels. We like to have rituals with these angels. We want to speak to them more frequently. The more you talk to them, the more you receive. So that, as you're talking about this, it's like, okay, I know how I perceive it. And how it affects, you know, how it appears in my life, but particularly the animal thing has always been my thing.

Carl jokes that I'm snow white. Cause there's always animals like around, like I'll be working on the deck and there'll be like, like squirrels, birds and things in like, what's going on here, but I always have had that connection to animals all my entire life. So beautiful. I didn't know that about you.

And for me, I think, and maybe some of our listeners too, sometimes when I archangels, I think it's religious. You know, it's, it's Western religion, right? Well, you know, everything I teach is totally non denominational. I am a spiritual teacher. And what that means to me [00:23:00] is that I teach people how to crack open to a presence of spiritual relationship and connection of their own understanding, not my way or the highway.

When I walk onto a stage, I am not alone. Okay. I have a posse, babe. And you know, you can feel it. Feel it. I have a posse of energy behind me, which is why I have such a strong pull to be on stage more because it's where I just feel the most connected and aligned.

It's happening right now too. It's, it's the energy of that angelic presence and allowing that presence to come through. And I think that what you're saying is so profound in the sense of like, You don't have to be alone. You're not alone. And we do a lot about this. The angels are God in drag. Yeah. I mean, angels are [00:31:00] whatever you want angels to be for you. If you believe. in these archangels, start to ask them for help.

Go back and listen to this and be reminded of the, we'll put in the show notes what each angel is designed to, to do and support you with. But the presence of those angels is available to you simply when you ask for it. So that prayer, thank you angels for supporting me in this, or thank you Gabriel for helping me find the words.

Thank you Michael for protecting me and keeping me safe in this situation I actually need to call on Michael more often I've been in a lot of situations lately where people just really pissed me off And so I need Michael there to be like my bouncer right like be my bouncer bro Like step on in with your blue light That's how you can talk to angels.

You can talk to angels, however you want, because they're going to hear your frequency and really they're not hearing your words. They're hearing your frequency. They're hearing your energy. They're hearing your intention. They're hearing your commitment. I mean, Josh, I've been waking up every single day and saying, thank you angels for taking this [00:32:00] huge commitment that I've made to the world and helping me.

helping me and what that would look like. What does that look like? It's a, it's going to be a big, big PR opportunity or a Netflix show or whatever it needs to be so that I can facilitate this work into the world. And I know that my angels feel from me that that request is not about me. That request is help me do my mission driven work.

And that, that is a pure magic for the angelic realm because their job is to help us have our thoughts be more aligned with God. Love. Right. And then when we align those thoughts with love, they're God's messengers. So they need to work through us to be the earthly messengers of God. And so here I am in full awareness and alignment that in this lifetime, my mission is to carry a message of love and hope and spirit.

And I am welcoming right now, this is me manifesting guys, welcoming the angels of the highest truth and compassion to enter into my world and just do for [00:33:00] me what I can't do for myself. Help me get my message out into the world in a bigger way, spread the love through my voice and I will show up for the assignment, but I'm welcoming some help.

I'm welcoming more help. And that guys, Josh is crying. Well, I'm your hand. I'm like fully, fully, fully, fully in it. Yeah. You're feeling, cause do you feel an energy shift in the room? Of course. Yeah. Yeah. It's insane. Yeah. It's just because I think they're with me and they hear me right now. And I, and so right now, let's, as you're listening to the show, the angels are present.

And so whatever it is, let's, let's do a prayer together, whatever it is in your life that you're holding onto or an area of your life where you need support. For me, it's, I need support in spreading my message. I really do. I need, I need angelic support. I need it. I want it. I'm ready for it. Whatever it is that you feel you would like support with right now, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, if you're driving, if you're listening, if you're in the room, we'll say thank you [00:34:00] angels for providing us with the support that we need to fulfill our function, to fulfill our purpose, to fulfill our mission.
