how to transform your relationship with money: big talk with lewis howes

[00:00:00] The following podcast is a dear media production.

Hey there. Welcome to Dear Gabby. I'm your host, Gabby Bernstein. And if you landed here, it is absolutely no accident. It means that you're ready to feel good and manifest a life beyond your wildest dreams. Let's get started.

Is your relationship to your money blocking you? This is actually a question I've had for so many years from different people all throughout my audiences or on my podcast from people coming to me saying, Gabby, I don't know why, but I feel so financially blocked or I don't know how to attract that abundance, or I don't know how to have the successes that I want in my life.

Now, today on the show, I've got my brother, ano , ano Lewis house, and he's, uh, straight, straight off his wedding, straight, right off the back of your wedding. A few days off.

A few days off the back of your wedding [00:01:00] here with me today to talk about how to make money. Easy. How to make money easy. Because most people make it hard.

Most people make it hard. And I love this book. It's such a great Gabby book because we're here talking about the book, how to make money easy. If you've been living under a rock and you don't know who Lewis houses, he's the host of the school of greatness. And if you're living under a rock and you don't know, the show has over 1 billion downloads.

One billion downloads just celebrated 12 years of the show. And Lewis is out with his second book, right? This is your second book. Technically third. Third. Yeah. Technically the third book.

What was it? Not technically. It's your third book. Yeah. You look like you were confused for a second. Well, I mean, actually this is my fourth book.Fourth official book. I did a couple of self-published, but this is the fourth of like bigger traditional publishing.

We're here for the fourth book. Make money easy. And today we're going to cover how to [00:02:00] make your relationship with money more joyful, how to achieve lasting abundance and prosperity, and why a good relationship with money is important for your personal and spiritual growth.

This is a big part for me. I also just want to let my coaching members, my Gabby coaching members, I want you to know there's a great practice that's going to accompany this, everything you learn here on this book and when you read this book. And the practice in the app is the Abundance Flows coaching practice, which I want you to make sure you go find it, go into your discovery section.

Go to the Abundance Flows coaching practice and if you're not a Gabby coaching member, go to DearGabby.com/app and I have tons of practices that are related to what Lewis and I are talking about today. Practices on really tuning to your abundance energy and your abundance mindset. So you can go to DearGabby.com. Let's get in, baby. Let's get in here. All right. So you have a question. Okay.

And I want people to think about their relationship with money and maybe they've never thought about it [00:03:00] before, but if money were a person in your life, who would that person be? And how would you treat them? So imagine you walked into a room or you were in a room and money walked in.
What would your initial response be?

Oh, me? Yeah. I'd be like, what's up, Bob Bestie. I'd be like, we're good. And it would be really like a really connected relationship. Like, like almost like when you walked in the room. Yeah. That's how big hug, big hug. Best friend, feel so supported. Yes. So connected. That is the coolest question ever.

If money walked into the room, if it was a person walking into the room, how would you react?
How would you react? How would you feel initially? How would you emotionally feel? And then how would you respond? It's funny. I've asked a lot of people this, and there's someone close to me that I asked this too.

I was like, if money were a person and it came in the room, how would you react? And they said, I would avoid it. I would run away. I would ghost it, but I'd want to use and abuse it. If it came to me and I go, [00:04:00] interesting, imagine how money must feel if you think of it that way, if you have that feeling of it that way, and if you use it in that way, imagine if that was a friend of yours or a person in your life, you ghosted them, you abused them, you avoided eye contact, you ran away from it, but then you needed it only when you needed to buy something.

That would not be a good relationship in your life. And I want everyone listening or watching to imagine and either leave a comment somewhere on how your relationship with money is right now. If it were a person, how would you show up to it? You know, again, are you besties? If so, then you probably have a more secure relationship with money.

Or are you more avoidant or anxious around money? And based on that attachment style towards a person in your life, you're probably going to have a similar attachment style to money based on your money story and your money style. And it all depends on how you grew up around money. And these things tie into not only money, but again, how you are intimately in your relationships.

So these things kind of all tie [00:05:00] together. And you're the master of relationships here. And do you, because I've failed at so many of them. And now you are, now you're good. Now you're good. You got that beautiful ring on your finger, baby. And the relationship to money is a real relationship.
And I know for me, I can speak for myself, I grew up with a real poverty mindset and. When I was 21, I had a quantum shift around my money. What was that shift?

It was, see, if you asked me this 25 years ago, I would have been, or 26 years ago, I would have been like, oh, you know, I'm scared it's going to go away, or I don't want it to leave me, or I got to hold on so tightly.

I'd have a very anxious attachment style to my money. And then when I was 20, I was promoting parties and nightclubs, and I had a good time doing it. My cousin owned the club, and I was like, say Gabby at the door. And I would get a percentage of the bar. And I remember the first night I did my, that club, I, I made a thousand dollars cash.

And I was like, and that could have been two choices. I could have been like, oh, I don't, not still not good with money or a show is in that moment. I'm going to make money easy. [00:06:00] And it started to shift for you?

Yeah, it was a quantum shift. I don't think that's always so accessible to people, but that shift showed me that I proved that I could do this. And from that point forward, I made the commitment that my parents' relationship to money was not going to be mine.

Hmm. Because what were the thoughts or the feelings or the words that were used around money growing up for you? I like how we literally just went right into you being the host of the show. I think it's interesting.Everyone should be reflecting on their money story. And that's one of the things we talk about. You're so good at interviewing people that you're just like, let's get in here. Okay.

Because your money story dictates your money style. How you interact with money today is based on your story. And if you're not reflecting on it.

Then you're going to just be reactive around money, how you've always been, unless you really start to take inventory and reflect on, Oh, this is my money history. These are the things, the wounds, the highs, the lows that happened, that determine how I show up my personality style with money today.

And I have many stories that [00:07:00] shaped my kind of money style in my teens, my twenties and my thirties. That is until I started doing more of the healing work and making friends with money, that's when it started to come to me more effortlessly. Because there's two types of people. There's people that can make money, but feel unhappy.

And there's people that can make money and feel more peaceful with their money. And a lot of people we know who've made a lot of money don't know how to feel good about themselves still, no matter how much they have. A few years ago, I was living in a building down the street during the pandemic. It's a beautiful story.

Yeah. I was living in a building down the street during the pandemic. A really nice building. It was probably one of the most expensive buildings to live in for an apartment here in LA. And I'm coming back from a trip and all of a sudden, as I pull into the valet, there's a white tent in the valet. And I sarcastically say, someone didn't jump, did they?

It was a very tall building and the person, the valet person said, yes, and we have to reroute you [00:08:00] this way. I go, are you serious? And I go, who was it? And they said the name and I was like, man, I don't know that person, but I know who he is. I did a little research on him. He's supposed to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

And I was just like, how could someone with that much money. Who seemed to have it all, who was in the right circles, who had the right relationships, who had notoriety. Why would he jump? Why would he commit suicide? Why would he take his life? And there were other factors that didn't cause him to have a rich life inside.

He might've had wealth, but he didn't feel rich inside. And I don't know all the factors on why he decided to commit suicide. There are a lot of people who are stressed, overwhelmed. And don't feel good about themselves, even though they have money.

And that is not a rich life. Yeah. That is a poor life in my mind because you're still a prisoner. You, you have money and you can't enjoy your life with it. Yeah. And I felt that probably in my late 20s, early 30s, where I was. [00:09:00] I had a lot of fun, but I had anxiety around money, and I just stacked it. I was just like, I don't want to lose it. Yeah. I don't want to go back to my sister's couch. Yeah.

So I'm going to still sleep on couches at friends houses. I'm still going to ride in the back of the bus to get places. I want to get the cheapest, most connecting flight to get somewhere. So I don't have to overspend. I was like, I've got money in the bank. What am I doing? But I was still anxious about it.
So sure I had fun, but when it came to having to spend money. I didn't enjoy it. I was worried.

It's funny because you're talking about this like any kind of relationship that you build and as you grow in relationships, your relationship to that person or that money will change. And I'm, you're making me realize that, you know, like I had that quantum shift as a kid at 20, whatever, but I too, like you, I mean, there were years that I went maybe like eight years into my career.

Where I was like, so underserved, so under, so, like, I prided myself on how little I spent. You did it all yourself.

Exactly. Yeah. And so there were even more shifts as you healed. So there's the first phase [00:10:00] of recognizing, and I think that you open the book with this, with the story of the man that took his life.
That was a really important place for me when I read you, when you opened the book with that because you're first teeing it up saying money is not going to be the answer. Money is not going to be your source of happiness.

You know, being poor is not the answer either. That's not either. Living in poverty is not the answer also. The answer is make money. Yeah, and really learning to heal your money wounds first so that when you're building your bank account, when you're increasing your net worth, when you're making more money, you're not anxious. You're not avoiding it. When that money enters the room, I give you a 2 bill when I enter the room, when money comes to you.

You just want to know how do I feel about it? There's a great book called happy money by Ken Honda, where he says, every time you receive money, you want to thank money. Yeah. I'm going to thank you, whether it be internally or literally out loud. Thank you. Thank you for coming to me. Now, where would you like to go?

Yeah. Would you [00:11:00] like to go to my bank account? Would you like to pay off some of my credit cards? Would you like to go to my student loans? Would you like me to buy coffee? Would you like me to give this to a stranger? Yeah. Where do you want to go? Ask it. Again, it's like a relationship entering the door.

How are you? Thank you for being here. What's going on in your life? What would you like to do today? Build that relationship with money and watch. Your entire world around money starts to change.

So let's talk about building a relationship with money, okay? So there's a beautiful message in the books that your money story is true for you and shapes everything you do [00:15:00] We have to start there because we attract what we believe. Yes, our money mindset creates our money reality, our self worth creates our net worth.

So my love talk to me about yes, so if you say money is hard, it's always been hard It's always been a struggle. My parents fought over money. My parents got a divorce over money. And so I've always had this anxiety and uncertainty around money that is going to be your money story.

And it's going to shape your money style. And when you put those two things together, it's going to create the results in your life about what money is for you, and maybe you figured out how to work really hard to make money. You've gotten a really great job or you're an entrepreneur and you've.

Grinding yourself to the ground where you're like, okay, I'm, I figured out how to get results, but you don't feel peaceful inside about those results. It's never enough. Yeah. And you're exhausted. You're burnt out. You're exhausted. So you've learned how to make it. But that story still dictates your style.

So you may be good at making it still, but it's not easy and you don't appreciate it or enjoy it. [00:16:00] And that is like living in a money prison. Or more often than not, you don't even know how to make it.
Most people don't know how to make it. And that's the hard thing. If you have that money story, then you're probably not educating yourself around money because you're afraid of it.

You're worried about it. You're anxious. You don't understand it. I didn't understand it growing up. I was like, I don't know, I didn't ask the questions around money because I was afraid of it. And because we didn't have a lot early on. You never talked about it. Yeah. So it was just kind of like, and my parents really fought all the time.

They got a divorce and it just seemed like it was stressful. Life was hard. And so that was part of my money story. I was tied to money as well and making money. And I didn't, I wasn't educated enough about how to make money. Now my dad did certain things. Where he showed me in different ways about how to appreciate life.

So he had a rich life, even though he didn't make a lot of money until I was in my teen years, he started to make more. So I saw him going from poor. He had my older brother when he was 19, he and my mom, they were nine, they [00:17:00] were kids, they were still in school. They were working hard. Yeah. And it wasn't until he was probably in his late thirties when he started to make multiple six figures, working hard, selling life insurance for 20, 30 years.

Right. And so in my teen years, he started to make a little bit more and started to have a sense of financial freedom for him. So I started to see things shift. The energy started to shift, but something he did, he lived by a generous mindset principle and all the time he tried to bring joy to interactions.

He tried to appreciate individuals. He tried to give people big hugs because I gave people big hugs today. And he always tipped in 2 bills since the day I can remember going out to a restaurant with him.
He would give a 2 bill as a tip, and I'd always watch the waiter or waitress, like, light up. It's just like, whoa!

And just like she said earlier, she's like, oh, they don't even make those anymore. Like, there's always something in interaction when you do something generous for someone else in a [00:18:00] unique way. It doesn't have to be giving money or a 2 bill. But that's just what I watched my dad do. He wanted to make people smile.

Yeah. And again, if you think back, if I enter a room, how can I be generous to someone else in some unique way that is unique to me? I like to give people hugs. Maybe you compliment someone. Maybe you give someone a 2 bill, whatever it might be. How can you be generous? And that mindset of generosity. I believe it is the foundation for unlocking abundance financially and also internally inner peace.

When we come with generosity first, it is the gateway to abundance. The mindset of generosity unlocks abundance. Excellent. Even if it doesn't come back to you right away, you feel more abundant. Energetically, it comes back to you right away.

You feel it internally and a lot of people are trying to make more money so they can feel better about themselves, more secure, more safe, more confident, whatever it might be more secure, more [00:19:00] credible, whatever it might be. We're trying to make something so we can feel different. But you talk about this in every one of your apps at the beginning of everything in your app. It's about the energy of gratitude. First, it's about the energy of appreciation.

It's about setting a powerful intention and being an energy. That radiates love and when you can radiate that love, which includes appreciation, complimenting someone, bringing joy, bringing just a positive smile. When you can radiate that in your unique way, you become a magnet to attract what you want.

A hundred percent. A lot of people want to make more money. So when you bring that energy, you attract it. I was reading in the journal of some psychology journal, people were doing studies around waiters and waitresses. And they had like these case studies of individuals literally saying their name or not saying their name when they would go wait on a table and just by introducing yourself, you get [00:20:00] more tips saying your name, you're creating a personal connection.

That's one level. Another one was when you just compliment someone on their order choice, like the lasagna, that's a great choice. You just compliment. Tips went up by 68 percent just by complimenting someone on their order choice. Then if you could recall their order, your tips went up also. So I've done all these studies in these cases, and I love that.

Can you, you can apply that to life. If you can just say your name and repeat back someone's name to them. Oh man, you feel more connected. They feel appreciated and that relationship will appreciate and value. If you, if you listen to someone. And you recall what they just said to you. Like you were a therapist.

Yeah. You do this so well. You are so good at this. This is what we do for a living, right? You are the best at it. But if someone says something, you say, wait a minute, what I just heard you say was this, this, and this. Yes. Am I getting that right? Yes. Someone's going to feel appreciated. Seen. That value is going to increase.

Yes. That relationship [00:21:00] value. And the last one was, yeah, if you compliment someone, if you say their name and if you repeat the order. Yeah. It's just showing that you're being attentive and you're caring. Yeah. Little things that we can start to do on a daily day to day basis that helps us increase our own unique value in relationships and make our lives richer with or without money. But when we have a richer inner life. We will create a richer outer life as well.

100%. And that connection creates more currency, right? Because the connection is an energetic currency. It is. And I believe that that energetic currency is equivalent to the financial currency. Yes. And it's, that's about the beliefs.

And then it's about the energy that we put out. There's so many people in my life that I've helped or hired because of their vibe, right? Their vibes speak louder than their words. I've had a great experience when I was at a Gucci store once and I was just shopping around and having some fun. And this girl comes up to me, she works in the Gucci store and she's [00:22:00] like, Gabby, I love you.

I'm so happy that you're here. I work here. She's like, but what I really do is I write, I make these tarot cards and she's like, you know, I'm always doing readings for everybody and she's like, I've got my cards here. Do you want to pull a card? And I was like, hell yes. So I pulled a card. She did my reading in the middle of the Gucci store and the cards were gorgeous and she was so lit up about it and she was super generous and repeated it back to me.

And I looked at her and I was like. You need to publish these and she's like, it's my dream to be published by Hay House. And I was like, girl, I can make that happen. And the month later she had a publishing deal with Hay House. And that is exactly what you're talking about. She could have been in the money mindset that I'm not good enough.

I've got this passion, but my passion project can't make me money or the stories, right. Or like who am I to go to ask Gabby. But instead she confidently generously was like, let me give you a reading. And that connection and that generosity turned into abundance.

A hundred percent, yeah. Period. And the right type of connection turns into currency. It is a currency. It's a currency. And then the way to increase that currency is to elevate your [00:23:00] frequency and your energy to a higher level. And that level needs to be love, needs to be connection, needs to be

Let me tell you something. I'm obsessed with Skims. Obsessed, obsessed. I'm not sure if you saw my Instagram. I had this full body suit that I was wearing under my dress for my live talk and it was just like Gabby Skims and I was saying mantras while I [00:26:00] was wearing my Skims. Okay. So somebody's listening. They're like, okay, I love you, Lewis. This feels like exactly what I want to hear. It feels good when I hear you say it, but you know, Lewis, I've got a really bad money mindset. I grew up, let's say I grew up with X, Y, Z. I've got a bad money mindset. How do I heal my money mindset?

First thing is to become friends with it. And you know, you talk about this in internal family systems. I've heard you talk about this. It's really kind of like forgiving the version of you that's been beating up money so much. Like if [00:27:00] you've been beating up yourself internally, internal family systems, like the younger you or the different parts of you, you've got to learn to make up with those parts of you.You have to learn to make up with money.

And create your own process where you forgive yourself for speaking about it so badly or treating it so badly for avoiding it so much for not paying attention to it and allowing debt and interest to increase in your bank accounts. You have to carry the burden that you've created.

And all the things you've said nasty about it, how you've abused it on the wrong things, whatever it might be, you need to have a come to Jesus moment with yourself and say, I'm sorry money for how I've treated you. I'm sorry for the way I've acted. I'm sorry for the way I've been avoiding you, how I've ghosted you, how I've been so anxious around you.

And I want to start having a better relationship with you. As weird as it sounds, I know your audience will like this. But as weird as it sounds, it's having a forgiving conversation with yourself and money and learning. You can journal about this. You can [00:28:00] speak it out loud. You can do it internally, but saying from now on, I'm going to start shifting my relationship with you, money.

We're going to have a different relationship together and I'm not going to be perfect and I'm going to fall back into my old ways. But I'm going to catch myself every time I do. I'm going to start treating you better and I'm going to start slow. It doesn't have to be everything all at once. I don't have to learn everything about money and investing and all these things.

I'm just going to start. Having a different relationship first with you and saying, thank you. Every time you come to me, I'm going to say, thank you. Every day. I know you do this as well. You look for signs and I think it's a blue butterfly. Sometimes what's your sign you look for? Blue butterfly. And I'm going to start making money.

My sign, I'm going to start looking for you everywhere. This is something I do all the time. Almost every time I say this. I'm going to find money right now. I'm looking on the streets. I'm walking around. I see a penny, I see a hundred dollars. Sometimes I see money everywhere when I play this game and I say, you are [00:29:00] abundant and I'm going to start looking for you and finding you and thanking you when you come to me and also I'm going to start giving you away.

I'm going to start giving generously away to people that I know, people that I don't know, causes that I care about, causes I don't care about, churches, I'm going to start giving you away. It doesn't have to be all my money, it doesn't have to be 10%, but I'm going to start giving you away. If you can create this process where you're forgiving yourself for how you've treated money, you start thanking money, you start looking for money, and you start giving money away.

And you just do that every single day, a little bit at a time. You will live a richer life. Forgive your money mindset. Forgive your money. Forgive yourself for how you've treated money. Okay. Big, big, big, forgive yourself for how you've treated money.

Because you've been living in a money story that hasn't served you. It's gotten you to where you are. And, but it's not going to help you get through to the next level. Forgive yourself for how you've treated money.

And how does visualization play into attracting money? I mean, for me, I'm visualizing the end result all the time. I'm visualizing that in my relationships and my sports dreams and my business, specifically around money.

I'll give you a story. When I was broke living on my sister's couch for a year and a half, you met my sister this weekend. I think you might've met her. I really liked your family. Um, I was living on her couch for a year and a half in Columbus, Ohio. I was 24 years old and I struggled with money. I didn't know how to make it.

I was a truck driver before then for about three months making 250 a week, driving six hours a day. Yeah. Columbus, Cincinnati and back driving Napa auto car parts in the back of a truck. And I was like, man, I'm really struggling here. 250 a week is not going to get me anywhere. When I was on her couch later, I set a goal in mind.

I said, I want to make 5,000. I have no idea how I'm going to make this, but I wrote 5, 000 for a [00:31:00] speech. I said, I'm going to give a speech and I'm going to make 5, 000. I put a date within nine months and I go, I have no idea how to make money. I've never made 5,000 in my life. I don't know what I'm going to do to be able to do it.

And I'm afraid of public speaking. So I said, in order to do this, I need to go all in on my fears because I can't create wealth if I'm afraid of something. So I need to learn how to overcome the fear of it first. That means I've got to embarrass myself. I need to fail at it. I need to find a mentor or a coach or a group that can help me learn this skill.

I need to educate myself and I need to immerse myself in this. So what I did is I found someone who was a public speaker. He took me out to coffee in Starbucks, and he said, if you want to become better at public speaking, you need to go all in at Toastmasters. It's a club around public speaking, and you need to go every week.

Most people go once a month. You need to go every week. If you can't get up at all in front of anyone without being terrified, go once a week. And [00:32:00] every week you need to speak and every week you need to give a speech in some way. And you need to find a co, he told me all the whole process. So I just did exactly what he said.

And nine months later, I had this printed off on my wall. I signed it with a date by the time I would make 5, 000 and I framed it as if it already happened. And for me, I just looked at that every single day and it just gave me direction. Just gave me a clear direction. And it kept making me say, okay, every week I'm going to go show up this thing.

And the first three to six months, I was not good, but I kept showing up and I kept getting better and opportunities started to come to me during that time. I started doing free workshops, then I made 500 somewhere and then eventually I made 5, 000 for a speech. Buy that nine months, but it doesn't mean you're always going to reach the goal.

You have Jim Carrey famously wrote a check for 10 million to himself that he talked about with Oprah within five or seven years. He got that 10 million check. It doesn't mean you're going to get the goal, but you're going to get a lot better than where you are. If you set that [00:33:00] intention and you have a game plan.

And you go all in on that thing for that time period, you're going to get a lot closer. What I like that you shared is something I often teach, which is that if you want to do something and you want to make money doing something, particularly if it's your passion work or really it's something you want to do, then do it for free for a while. You have to. Just do it. You have to.

Because that's the currency. When you start doing, you and I both, I, I spoke at schools and colleges and marketing classrooms. I spoke for women's conferences. I was just speaking wherever I could speak to be in the energy of the work and creating the currency. The more you do it, the more you appreciate it in value.

You said connection is currency, but so is confidence is currency. When you walk into a room confidently, you attract more of what you want. People look to you and say, I wonder who that person is. Let me go ask them a question. Same on how you show up on social media or through your podcast, when you have confidence by doing the things that are hard over and over again for free, you build that currency within you, you live [00:34:00] a richer life inside of you and you attract that abundance externally as well.

You're making me realize something that I sort of unconsciously did to manifest money and it might sound strange. This might sound strange, but I remember growing up and there were some friends of mine that had grown up, maybe very wealthy and I did not. I had, my parents were very, very, really struggling with money and it's because one of my greatest, greatest life shifts was really healing my money mindset.

So with so many of the tools that you share here are very similar. And I remember, like having a girlfriend who grew up very wealthy and so her relationship to money was just sort of like money flows to me naturally and like it's not a big deal, right? Like money wasn't a big deal to her. Now, granted, it wasn't her earnings, but it was a mindset that she had that I'm sure has probably been beneficial for her throughout her life.

I remember her having her handbag open. There was sort of like loose dollar bills in her handbag. There's just like cash in the bag. While that might seem like, you know, sort of just ridiculous or like she's not taking care of her money. For me, I looked and I was like, that's kind of something I want to feel.

Like I want to feel like money's just [00:35:00] in my bag. Like it's just overflowing out of the bag. And you know, I just like loose bills in the bag. And to me, it wasn't that. For me, that represented something, not like, Oh, you know, being some like rich dad's daughter, it represented just the casualness and the sort of freeness, the fluidity of it.

And so today when you handed me that 2 bill, I threw it in my hand, I didn't put it in my wallet. And it's like there, I always catch myself sometimes when I see loose bills and stuff in my bags. And it makes me feel good because it represents to me. That I feel free and flowing with my abundance and my money.
And yes, it doesn't mean that I don't respect my money. It doesn't mean that I don't put my money in my wallet and put it in my bank. And there's lots of mentalities around that. But actually, the more lucid it is, the more free that represents for me. It's interesting. Yeah. Yeah.

That's really interesting. I was interviewing Joe Dispenza once about, you know, kind of the quantum field and money.

Yeah. I go, what's like a story you could share with me about money on how someone should be [00:36:00] thinking. About how to create a better relationship with it. And the first story he told me was like, I was having lunch with some billionaire. And I asked him a question, if you lost everything today, like all your money and all your business and all the everything, like how would that make you feel?

And he said, he just picked up his hamburger and just took a bite and he said, it wouldn't matter because I am wealthy. It was like, I am wealth. You know. So it doesn't matter. I feel abundant. I am wealth. It flows to me. If it all goes away, that's okay. Cause it's all going to come back times 10.

And I think that mindset of like your girlfriend growing up, or they just, she just said, yeah, money flows to me whenever I want it. It's hard to think that way if you don't have money, if you have this poverty or poor mindset, or you just like struggle, you feel blocked with money, it's really hard to say, I am wealth.

Yeah. But I think we need to start shifting our language and our feelings around who we are. I am joy. I am love. I am connection. [00:37:00] I am passion. I am excitement. I am abundance. I am positivity. I'm a good person. Start saying the things that you can step into because that energetically will start to attract money as well.

If you go back to, again, the waiter or the waitress, just by them smiling, just to notice when you go to a restaurant, like I'm always over tipping when someone's just like. A couple extra moments of like, Hey, how's your day and smiling and it's good to see you and all that looks great. And that's a good order.
Yeah. I want to give them more money. Yeah. Like how can you show up with that energy of abundance, generosity with the people around you, you will attract more of what you want.
