Welcome back to Dear Gabby. So you've heard about the law of attraction, right? It's when you think you're good thoughts and you're in that high vibrational frequency, and you start attracting more high vibrational experiences into your life, you become a magnet for what you want. But there's also the law of assumption, and this is about assuming the feeling of that wish that you desire, and seeing it through, visualizing it, feeling it, and knowing it.

Living as if it's already yours. And it can really sometimes feel confusing. Like, are these the same thing? Is one better than the other? There's [00:01:00] no choice that you have to make here. You can actually combine these two principles. They're beautiful spiritual practices that can be brought together. And when these two practices are brought together, they can absolutely accelerate your manifesting capacity.

And so if you wanna put both of these tools into action. Absolutely enhance your manifesting power. Then we'll talk a little bit about the law of attraction, but then I'm gonna go deep into practices that are gonna teach you the law of assumption. So let's start with the one most of us actually know about, which is the Law of attraction.

And my teachers, Abraham Hicks, teach that this is the most powerful law in the universe, and that it's simple and that it's our birthright. That which is like unto itself is strong. In other words, your energy is what attracts. What you believe is what attracts, and think of it like a radio. It's like a frequency.

Your thoughts are feelings, and your feelings are constantly broadcasting this vibrational frequency out into the universe. And if you're broadcasting a frequency of joy and abundance and gratitude and health and [00:02:00] wealth, then the universe has no choice but to send that experience back to you. It's gonna be a match for your own energy, whereas there's.

The opposite, which is if you're putting out the energy of negativity and low vibration, you're gonna start to experience more of that in your life. And this is the very foundation of my teaching in my book, super Attractor. And the universe has your back, which is that your primary job is to feel good.

And when you're feeling good, you start to make that a priority, and you naturally align with the high vibe loving energy of the universe. This is the law. It's the law of attraction. Now, this is where some people get really tripped up, though. They think that this means that you have to be happy all the time, and that if you're not feeling super high vibe all the time, then you're doing something wrong.

So they try to push those feelings away without really processing what's underneath them. And that's actually a. Not in alignment. That's avoidance. And so denying your feelings doesn't actually raise your vibration actually buries the energy and they fester. And that negative energy, actually I'm living this in this moment.

I've been flooding some feelings, fester, and they came to the surface today, guys, and I'm not manifesting the reality I [00:03:00] want in this moment, but having that awareness is really valuable because it allows you to look a little bit closer and start addressing those feelings. And this is a practice that isn't just about pretending to be okay, because as you can see I pretending to be okay.

Today wasn't the right answer. It's about being honest and being present with where you are in the moment and meeting yourself with curiosity and meeting yourself with compassion and gently reaching for the next best feeling thought. And that is where the emotional guidance skill comes in.

And this is where we can really practice the law of attraction. This is a practice that Abraham Hicks teach, and it's that your emotions are actually a built-in guidance system and at the top of the scale, you have these feelings like joy and love. Appreciation and when you're really aligned with the energy of the universe.

That's those feelings, your energy of joy and appreciation. Joy is the ultimate creative energy. And at the bottom are these emotions like despair and powerlessness. And your goal isn't to leap from despair straight into joy. That's just not gonna be realistic. It's not gonna be good for your internal [00:04:00] system.

And the real work is actually about climbing one rung at a time. You're just gonna let your emotions be like stepping stones and each of these emotions can lead you closer to that alignment. So if you're in frustration, moving to boredom is actually progress. Isn't that interesting? So you think about it like right now I was in a bit of despair and then I got angry.

Angry was actually progress from despair and it means that your vibration's actually raising, each time you make those small, subtle shifts up that ladder. And that's what I mean when I say that you can choose the relief over resistance because in every moment you can reach for a better feeling thought you can move into a little bit of a better vibrational frequency.

You can literally raise your vibration and become an energetic match for your desires. And if you stop pushing and start prioritizing that slightly better, joyful energy, that's when the universe can finally catch up with your energy and match you where you are. It is actually called matching. What are you a match for?

Are you a match [00:05:00] for the low vibration? Are you a match for the high vibration? And as you start to incrementally reach for a little bit better feeling, maybe it's frustration to boredom. If you reach to that next level, you're actually changing your energy. And I remember when I was trying to manifest this big speaking career in my life and I was really pushing and I was striving, and I was getting so frustrated that it wasn't happening in the timeline that I wanted.

When I finally surrendered, I said, universe, I'm just gonna focus on having more fun. And I just started to go to dance classes and see friends and just make that fun, my priority. Just get into a better mindset and a better state of energy. And when you know it, within weeks outta the blue, I got a call from my biggest speaking gig that I'd ever had at that point in my career.

I didn't do anything to get it. I stopped doing. I just started being in an energy of joy, and I started to get my energy into the match of what it is that I wanted to create. So being in that joyful vibrational match, more positive reflections were sent back to me. And the [00:06:00] focus of the law of attraction is to become an energetic match.

So when we're in that matched state, we start to align with what it is that we desire. It's a practice of tending to your vibration and choosing that relief and choosing to lean into the better frequency. Today I actually had to ask myself, would I rather be right or happy? And I wasn't sure exactly. I don't know where I landed on that one to be honest with you, but that's a good question to ask yourself if you're feeling like some situation that you're obsessing over is making you angry because you're just wanting to be right about it.

Maybe you just choose to be happy instead and just sort of let go of the rope. And that's the thing I want you to think about. And so when we're in that state of focusing or energy towards a better vibrational stance, that's when we start to match what we want. Now let's dive into the law of assumption. It's most famously taught by Neville Goddard, and I'm gonna take it a step further here. So, the law of attraction is about energy. The law of assumption is about identity. It states that whatever you assume to be true and persist in that assumption, well actually become a fact in your life.

It will come into form. It's not about attracting something to you as if it's separate from you. It's about recognizing that your world is a projection of your own consciousness, and as Neville taught, the world is yourself pushed out. So in other words, when you live as if you've already had the experience, the universe actually responds to that energy and the key practice here isn't just to feel good.

It's not just feeling joy in general. It's to assume the specific feeling of that wish that you already have fulfilled when you live from that end result, [00:13:00] seeing it through to the end. So how do we do this? Neville had this really famous technique that was practiced and it's called the state akin to sleep or SATs.

And it's that drowsy, relaxed state right before you fall asleep, when your conscious mind is quiet. And so in that relaxed. Calm centered state, you're gonna start to imagine a short scene that would imply that your desire is already fulfilled. You're gonna see it in your mind's eye, not the whole thing, just a snippet, just a little scene, and maybe it's a friend congratulating you or it's looking at the ring on your finger, or it's seeing the sold sign on your house holding that tiny little vision in your mind.

And then you're gonna loop that short scene over and over in your mind. You are just gonna drift off to sleep, letting it really sink into your subconscious. Just seeing that ring on your finger, seeing that sold sign on your house, and just let it sink into your subconscious. And so when you start to think about this and you start to assume that image and that scene in your [00:14:00] mind, you actually start to feel it.

And that feeling is the attracting power. And this is a method I've taught, which is called the think it to Feel It method. I go really into this powerful method in my 21 day manifesting challenge. All the details are the link in the show notes. This is a practice that I swear by. It gets me into the thinking that allows the feeling to come into form and that feeling starts to manifest in my life.

And with the law of assumption, you're not asking the universe for something, you're actually deciding who you are. Then you're living from that state of being. You assume the reality of your desire until it has this sort of sensory vividness of your own reality. You start to sense it. You can see it, you can feel it.

You can taste it. You don't attract what you want. You attract who you are. The law of attraction again, is about raising your vibration, or the law of assumption is about embodying a specific state. And so one of these might seem like it's about the journey, and the other one might seem like it's about the [00:15:00] destination.

So how do we put these two together without getting overwhelmed? You don't have to choose. These are not competing laws. They are a perfect spiritual partnership. They're the how and the what. So, lemme give you an analogy. Think of your energy as a garden. A lot of attraction is how you start to attend to the soil in that garden.

And this is your daily energy practice. And this is your commitment to choosing joy and to practicing appreciation, to doing things that make you feel good, to leaning into better feeling thoughts. And this is the work that is really keeping that soil really rich and fertile and ready for anything to grow.

And if your soil is rocky and dry from stress or negativity, nothing you plant is actually gonna take root. So you wanna make sure that you're really tending to that soil with your positive choices and your positive actions and your positive words, and having more fun. And the law of assumption is the specific seed that you plant in that garden.

This is your focused manifesting ritual for your [00:16:00] specific desire. This is your scripting. Your SATs practice right? When you're about to fall asleep at night and you're sleepy and you're just seeing that snippet of your life happening in real time. This is when you're in creative meditation. This is when you are stepping into the feeling of what you desire as if it's already there and this is you.

It's intentionally planting that seed for what you want to have grow. And this beautiful soil that you've been cultivating every single day is so ready to hold that seed and cultivate that seed so you can see now how we need both. When you try to use assumption from a place of a low vibration, that rocky soil, it's actually gonna feel fake.

It's gonna feel like you're forcing it. It's gonna kind of feel like you're playing magic tricks with the universe. And if you practice the law of attraction without that clear vision, that fertile soil has no seeds to grow. So your energy can feel really undirected. So if you really wanna attract into your life, you wanna be a super attractor.

Your day might look like this. You can start your day with a five minute appreciation practice just listing [00:17:00] off everything that you appreciate, and that's the law of attraction. And throughout the day, you can keep tending to that soil. When you just get stressed out, you can just choose a better feeling thought, maybe say an affirmation.

You are using the law of attraction. And then at night, before you go to sleep, you can do a 10 minute visualization where you feel your specific desired outcome. You can hold that snippet in your mind and you can feel that energy fulfilled in your body. And that's the law of assumption. One of these will keep you in that stream of high vibe flow, and the other is gonna direct that stream toward this specific creation.

And that's the seamless and beautiful flow of this process. So it's not about competition. These are two beautiful spiritual practices that should be joined together and used in collaboration. It's kind of like a dance between your general energy and your specific intention. It's merging these two. powerful practices together and your work is actually to release any struggle, to stop overthinking, to embrace your own ability to nurture that soil, and [00:18:00] then plant the seed and nurture the soil, and plant the seed, and prioritizing really good feelings to keep your energy super high. And being in that place of joy and that place of allowing and giving yourself that space to dream, that space to vision.

And letting those visions take on this feeling inside of you. And this is the path of the super attractor. This is about letting your joy make you a magnet for miracles and letting your faith turn your visions into form. I gotta tell you, it's such a beautiful way to live, guys. It's such a beautiful way to live, to be consistently focused on really feeding that soil and then planting those seeds.

So I'm gonna take some time to answer some of the most honest and vulnerable questions about the law of attraction and the law of assumption, and I'm gonna bring them together in a way that feels really aligned and doable. So, I've taken some questions from our audience and here we go. Gonna give you some clear answers that are gonna help you go a little bit further.

So let's dive in with the questions. What if I'm in a really low place emotionally, how do I raise my vibration when I don't even feel good enough to try? I actually think you have to feel it through to the end. So today I was in a pretty weird, funky place, but I was in that funky place because it was a feeling that I'd been putting off for a really long time.

It. Relational issue that I was just not wanting to address. And I just kept [00:20:00] pushing down the feeling maybe for about two years now, pushing down the feeling, not addressing the feeling, not confronting the situation. And so what did that do? It put me into this place where it was like a pressure cooker, and by pushing down those emotions, I actually let them all burst out.

And that actually doesn't help us because when we push down our emotions, we push down our energy, we actually create more resistance. And so the real work, the real practice here is actually about feeling your feelings. So I'm gonna suggest that when you're in a low vibrational state, that you go find a pillow and you rage that you get it out, that you feel it through to the end, that you journal about it in a journal that you call a friend who you know can help you.

And that you give yourself the opportunity to actually feel the feelings completely. Because by pushing those feelings away, you're actually just saving them for another day. Instead of pushing those feelings away, or not actually addressing or confronting the issues you are avoiding, you're in that place of good vibes only.

I can't actually feel those bad feelings. 'cause if I do, [00:21:00] then I'm gonna be in a low vibe state and then I'm not gonna manifest. Nope. You are actually making it worse. You're creating a pressure cooker inside, and eventually it's gonna burst. So I really wanna encourage you to feel those feelings all the way through to the end.

How do I know I'm aligned with the universe, or if I'm faking it, you know that you're aligned with the universe when your energy feels expansive, when you feel like you are in this state of joy, but you don't know why, when you're happy for no reason. When inspired ideas come to you naturally or when your intuition sparks that alignment is a free flowing energy.

It's an energy that's not attached. It's an energy that it's not focused on an outcome. It's an energy that's just in full presence with where you are in the moment. That alignment is something that I want you to start to take note of. I want you to start to pay attention to the moments in your life when you just feel free.

When you feel joy, when you feel like life is flowing naturally, pay attention, write about it. [00:22:00] Document what it feels like, starting to know and establish some awareness of that. Alignment actually allows you to lean into it more fully. When you feel it and you notice it, and then when you feel it and you notice it, lean into it more and more and more.

Bring more energy to it, cultivate more of it. That is a practice reaching for more alignment. Can you manifest when you're not high vibe? The truth might actually surprise you. Listen, you're always manifesting with the energy that you put out. But when you're in that state of practicing, your appreciation for all the feelings that you have, whether it be anxiety, whether it be sadness, whether it be frustration, you tend to those feelings inside of yourself.

You can start to notice the shift inside and noticing that better emotional state is actually something to celebrate. If you see that slight emotional upleveling where you go from, like I said, frustration to boredom, even [00:23:00] that slight adjustment puts you into a new frequency. I want you to see the adjustment happen in real time, and then I want you to celebrate your own innate ability to shift your energy.

To not judge or to attack yourself for having anxiety or fear or rage or anger. Just accept it for what it's, and to feel into it, and then lean into the next best feeling. What's the difference between feeling your feelings and indulging in negative thoughts? When you're feeling your feelings from a place of compassion and interconnection, you're getting into relationship with your feelings, you're recognizing.

This is something that I don't wanna avoid. It's something that I don't wanna override, and I'm gonna give myself permission to be present with it. Whereas when you're indulging in negative thoughts or negative behaviors, it's far beyond just feeling the feeling of negativity. Now it's just a protection mechanism.

Now it's like an avoidance tactic. I'm just gonna judge, or I'm gonna attack, or I'm gonna speak about the problem. [00:24:00] Because if I speak about the problem, I don't have to address the feelings that are beneath the problem. So the work here is to recognize that really the powerful practice is to just give yourself permission to feel the feelings all the way through to the end instead of talking about them, judging them, pushing them down, or get into a cycle in your mind about all of the things that are going wrong. Give yourself permission to feel the feelings, and then you don't have to obsess about them anymore. That's the key. That's the secret here. How can I live as if when my current reality is so far from what I want, living in the energy of as if only works.

If it feels good for you, if it starts to make you feel like you're in a lower vibrational state. It starts to make you feel bad, then it's actually the opposite of what the outcome is that we want. So I want you to live as if it's something that you feel is tangible. So maybe for you right now, you have a desire to have abundance in your life, but you're broke.

Maybe instead of seeing yourself in your mansion driving your Mercedes or whatever the vision is, [00:25:00] you actually see yourself enjoying a beautiful cup of coffee with a friend sitting on the park bench with a lot of free time. That's an abundant energy that is something that you might be able to believe in right now, but also simultaneously have the experience of, in this moment, give yourself permission to feel what abundance feels like, even if it's something mundane, and so you're not gonna.

Try to catapult your vision into something that may not feel attainable. You're gonna put yourself into an energy of something that feels realistic and feels super good inside. The good inside feeling is what we wanna cultivate right now. And our last question, can I practice the law of assumption for more than one thing at once?

Yes, you can, but I would suggest actually visualizing one at a time might be the best way to do this, because the more focused and clearer you are about the visions and the desires. The more energy you can bring to it, the less of a confusing message you're sending to the universe. So I would give yourself permission to really hold that vision closely and to do it in such a [00:26:00] nice energetic attunement, to have it in a cocoon and some kind of container where it gives you that place to really dream big and allow.

What if my assumptions feel fake or forced? Am I doing it wrong? If it feels fake, you are not doing it wrong. You're just not ready to assume that energy yet. So I want you to go back to the law of attraction and tend to your energy first. I want you to use that appreciation game, or maybe you can use one of your spiritual tools to raise your vibration.

That's an important step here because if you're wondering if you're doing it wrong, then you. Probably are missing out on that law of attraction part that wondering can be that sense of uncertainty. Whereas when you're fully in the energy of the law of attraction, you feel guided, you feel connected to [00:32:00] that desire and that feeling would not be questioned.

It's that you're choosing not to lean into it. You're choosing to focus on the small feelings or moments of abundance that is a choice. It's obviously easier [00:34:00] to lean into the fear because the fear can be so strong. But the way out of that fear-based cycle and the pattern of lack is to move into the energy and the clear energy and the clarity of what it feels like to be abundant.

And it can be as simple as feeling your sheets on your body. Or brushing your teeth with a wonderful toothpaste or drinking the best coffee you've ever had. Or maybe it's just being in the sunlight and feeling that sun on your face. Leaning into these small moments of abundance are the way out of the energy of lack.

It doesn't mean that your circumstances are gonna change overnight, but your energy can change and your circumstances follow your energy. The energy that you put out starts to magnify in your life. So. The more you focus on the lack, the more you lean into the lack mentality, the lack energy, and the lack reality.

Let's do our part, which is to find those moments of abundance and lean into them, and lean into them and lean into them. [00:35:00] I've been trying to manifest love, but I keep attracting unavailable partners. What's happening vibrationally? What's happening vibrationally is there is a part of you that's sending out a message that says, I am not worthy.

I don't believe I'm worthy, and that feeling of not being worthy is an energy that is sent out, and that energy is picked up by the perfect match, which is the unavailable partner. That unavailable partner shows up to consistently reflect back to you the unhealed part that needs your attention. So instead of judging yourself or blaming the guy or blaming the girl for not being available, do a U-turn.

Focus that connection back on yourself and ask yourself what part of me does not feel deserving of available? Love of genuine love of lasting connection. And then when you decide to focus that attention on yourself and focus inward. [00:36:00] Extend compassion and calmness and clarity to that part of yourself that needs your attention, that needs your healing.

Maybe you pick up a book like My book, Self-Help, which is based on the IFS therapy that is all about healing the core wounds inside of you. That practice can heal you. It can really release you of the burden of being stuck in the pattern. There you go. Here's a question I get a lot. How do I trust the unfolding when I don't see something happening?

How could I trust that it is unfolding? I'm gonna say to you with conviction right now that if you follow the steps in this podcast and you really commit to mastering that energetic shift with the law of attraction, and then start applying the law of assumption. You take this energy to the next level.

Maybe you take the manifesting challenge. Maybe you read a book this year that really opens your heart. Maybe you start a therapeutic practice. But when you really lean into that spiritual connection and making it constant contact with a spiritual higher power and a connection of [00:37:00] inner wisdom. You can really trust and know that the unfolding is happening, even when you can't see it yet, that faith starts to unfold for you naturally.

It's not something you have to find. It's something that finds you when you're in the alignment of the practice. So stop looking for the answers to give you the faith. Start leaning into the practices to create a sense of faith and safety inside, and allow your desires to unfold naturally with certainty that they're on the way.

It's about your willingness to just return to that love inside of yourself and to release. The struggle by being present with it and to trust that the universe is always supporting you.
